I think my homepage edit turned out much better than I had originally planned. I'm so glad I went with the Windows XP desktop idea. I feel really satisfied with it. My only complaint is that I'm unable to host my .mp3/.ogg file somewhere else and embed the file in my music window. Instead, I'm stuck with a nasty fucking soundcloud embed that's loaded with scripts and quite possibly Satan too. |

I had to fix the Photos page, I made the grave mistake of uploading the full-size images and just using CSS to resize them, result in a page-load time of 10+ seconds. That was no bueno. So I had to resize all of those pics on my PC first before reuploading them and now the page loads instantly! |

This was 100% fun to put together, holy fuck, I can't believe I pulled it off! I started this project 10 hours ago and had so much trial and error, but I think it will be smooth sailing from here on out. Yesterday, I pulled together my fake MySpace profile, MaiSpace, heavily using the SpaceHey code and pictures from a quick Google search as references. Coding is so much fun, I can't believe my family didn't turn me on to this, I could be earning hella green at a big tech company if they had pushed me in this direction. |
